June is “busting out all over,” which means my favorite baseball teams’—the Cubs and Rockies—seasons are just about over.
As my son plaintively said to me once, “Why didn’t you raise me to be a Yankee fan?”
Speaking of fans, ANACS certainly has lots of ‘em. Almost daily, I hear from customers who tell me they love our holder
with the distinctive gold label—“The best looking holder, by far, in the hobby”—and our conservative and consistent grading.
People also tell me they’re finding great coins at terrific prices in our holders. And we continue attributing amazing varieties for collectors.
In fact, no grading service does even 10% of the attributions ANACS does. We not only have the best graders, but also the largest and most extensive
numismatic library. That’s why no other grading service is able to serve its customers like ANACS.
And speaking of our loyal customers, during the course of the next few months ANACS will be attending coin shows in the following cities:
Charlotte, Baltimore, Austin, TX, Dallas, West Palm Beach, New Bern, NC, St. Louis, Shreveport, Rocky Mount, NC, Los Angeles (the ANA Money Show,
the year’s biggest coin show), Boston, Cheyenne, WY, Long Beach, CA and Philadelphia. Check out our Convention Schedule in the right margin for specific
dates and locations. At these shows you’ll be able to drop your coins off to have them certified (saving on postage, insurance and “postal worries”),
pick up submission forms and get your questions answered.
Finally, at a recent show a collector showed me a brief article he had written and wondered if we would be interested in putting it on the ANACS website.
It got me thinking there may be others who would like the same opportunity. Of course, we will need to approve every article before we post it to make
certain it’s properly researched and appropriate for our website. ANACS’ website provides collectors and researchers with a busy site that will draw a
lot of attention to your work. If you’re interested,
just e-mail me.
Meanwhile, while you’re enjoying summer say a prayer for the Cubs and Rockies—and their poor fans!
Thanks,

James Taylor
